Past Events
Thursday, August 29, 2019- Birthday Splash at Metropolitan Brewing - raised more than $3,000 towards Friends' mission.
Thursday, February 28, 2018 - Bottoms Up at Rock Bottom Brewery - our first fundraiser which raised more than $5,000 towards Friends' mission.
Wednesday, April 10, 2018 - Game-night takeover at Half Acre to sample Lucky Catfish Lager, a limited-edition beer brewed in honor of the Chicago River system and Friends in collaboration with REI Co-Op and Half Acre Beer.
Tuesday, November 13, 2018 - Trivia night at (9 W. Hubbard) in River North
Saturday, November 17, 2018– Inspire 2018 Auxiliary Board Summit hosted by All A-Board Alliance
Tributary Committee members:
- Join at the Black-Crowned Night Heron Level ($156 total/$13 per monthly option/$1 for each mile of the river)—
- Commit to one volunteer event a year
- Assist with one fundraising event per year
- Attend Tributary Committee meet and greets
- Use your leadership skills on a variety of sub-committees
- Have access to opportunities to learn about ecology, history, and planning of the Chicago River system
