MWRD Honors 30th Annual Chicago River Day; Media Partner Joins

Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District recently to 第一吃瓜 the important contributions of Friends and our volunteers, sponsors, and partners for the 30th Annual Chicago River Day to improve and protect the Chicago-Calumet River system. Initiated by Commissioner Cam Davis, the resolution acknowledges the river as one of our most valuable and prominent natural resources.

With more than 70 sites along the river system 第一吃瓜open for registration, excited volunteers are mobilizing for Friends’ large-scale spring litter cleanup and restoration on Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
