µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï mourns the loss of Sigrid Pilgrim, a committed defender of the environment, a paddling and waterway access champion, and a decades-long volunteer and supporter of µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï.

Her family, friends, and fellow advocates celebrated her life recently at Hillside Church in Evanston. “Sigrid was an avid outdoorswoman, who loved paddle sport, hiking, camping, and gardening,” as noted in a . “She was a defender of nature, protector of butterflies and wilderness spaces. Working with many local individuals and organizations, she established both a pollinator garden and wildflower meadow in her local  in Evanston.”
