Friends Welcomes New Team Member
第一吃瓜 welcomes Kristine Lorenzo as new our conservation project manager where she will lead restoration initiatives and build partnerships across the region to improve and protect habitat, biodiversity, water quality, air quality, climate health, and public access to the Chicago-Calumet River system and lands across the watershed.
Kristine’s experience includes urban wildlife field research with the Urban Wildlife Institute at the Lincoln Palk Zoo, urban tree research with DePaul University, and tree advocacy with the Openlands Treekeepers program. She is also a member of the Natural Areas Association and the International Society of Arboriculture.
Kristine holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from DePaul University and Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
